HOW DID IT ALL BEGIN
After living in Seattle and Brooklyn for 20 years, Daniel & Patricia moved to Brazil in 2009, and while there they really missed Seattle’s coffee culture, and the more relaxed bistro style restaurants of New York. Since they had been working in the industry for years, they decided to open their own place in 2010: Brooklyn Coffee Shop-Curitiba.
It was their first step to spread a little bit of “Brooklyn” to wherever they went, and it combined both of their passions—coffee & food—and above all, it offered people, through food, a multicultural bridge.
SO, WHY “BROOKLYN?”
The name is a celebration of the great borough of Brooklyn, NY, where they lived, met & got married.
A place that people from all corners of the world co-exist and mingle, creating a rich melting pot of cultures that represents everyone, and our modern world.
NOW IN ORLANDO
Brooklyn Coffee Shop continues to bring fresh, simple comfort food, in a place where you can relax for a moment, grab a bite, a cup of coffee, and get reenergized.
Brooklyn is a place where everyone feels at home, and we hope you do too!
